How can I see/edit my .htaccess file?

.htaccess is a hidden file.

You can edit it from the control panel. You can also see it from the control panel, using the File Manager.

To see it using an FTP client:

In cute FTP:

1. Go to File > Site Manager.
2. Highlight the site with hidden files.
3. Click the Edit button.
4. Check the Enable Filter box.
5. Click the Filter button.
6. Select Enable remote filters.
7. Type -a in the Remote filter field.
8. Click OK and reconnect to your site.

In WSftp, type -la in the white space under the MKDIR button in the Remote Site window and hit enter.
